weak link in cast

I recently started watching this on Netflix and am enjoying it but actress playing Jennifer has horrible delivery of her lines. Does she get better? Rest of the cast works well together but she doesn't seem like the right fit with them.

She's been pretty good with lines even from the start, maybe you're seeing something that's not there.

I actually agree with the OP. If I was to pick a weak link from the main cast, I think it's Jennifer, hands down. I like the actress in the role, I'm honestly not sure if it's her or the written lines that make her seem to have such a dry delivery.

reply

That's how her character is meant to be.

Yeah, it's totally how her character is supposed to be. In a way, she is kind of like a female version of Jeff, though not quite to that extreme.

Remember the episode when she and Jeff Bought that Camero ;)

Hmmm, I disagree.

It's the Casting of this Show that sets it apart from others, not a weak link, even with the secondary or guest characters.

Matter-fact, I was very surprised Oliver Hudson could play such a ditzy(?) character. From the first viewing; I thought he was miscast but he quickly dispelled that thought.

I respectfully disagree. I love Bianca. In anything she's done. Admittedly, she may seem weaker in delivery because hers is the only character that hasn't become (as most all sitcom characters do) a parody of who they were when the show started. This can be said of about 99% of sitcom characters.

Further, while I find Bianca very pleasant on screen (as pleasant as a gay guy can), I don't think she's a great character actor. Some actors play great characters and some play themselves IN character. I think she is the latter.
