Why only one full season???

Just curious. Season 5 of RoE is the only season that gave us a full 24 eps. The rest were only half season. We're hopes always that low?

It originally started as a mid-season replacement for the New Adventures of Old Christine. Ratings were good, so they kept it as such. When that horrid "Rob" show came, that stuffed everything up. This awesome show was lucky to get a 7th and final season. Thank the turds running CBS for that.

I never watched this show while it was on and remember being amazed every time I came across it that it was actually still on the air. Not because it was a bad show (I ended up really liking it in syndication and on Netflix) but because I didn't know a single person who watched it and the network never seemed to really care to promote it very much.

I've never noticed. i can see why some of the seasons may be shorter. It started as a mid season show. Also, maybe a few of the seasons were shorter due to specials or sporting events.
I never did start watching it until it was practically over. it was in syndication before the last season so I got to sort of catch up before the last show. I like binging now that it's on Netflix. Great show.
