He abused women also. I believe Cicely Tyson made those claims saying he locked her in a basement or closet against her will. Smh sometimes great talent comes at a price!

The movie does not portray Miles as a "gun toting thug," but he was a real s.o.b., philandering on and abusive to his wives. He was a great musician and bandleader, however!
