The beginning of the movie was awful. Like other posters have mentioned, the acting was horrendous. Usually I don't say that, but it was pretty clear in this movie. The conversation the girls had in the hot tub was totally forced and unnatural. In real life, girls talk over one another, they don't take turns agreeing with each other. After that though, the movie got better.

The plot is actually pretty solid. There are 2 twists along the way that are rather unexpected. Without these twists, the movie would be pretty dull. The acting improves throughout the movie because it doesn't involve 5 girls sitting in a circle talking to each other. Now they're stranded, they have to decide what to do next, etc. They handle it the way you'd expect.

The majority of the movie is filled with shots of the girls' legs, stomachs, cleavage, etc. That's enough to keep the men interested lol. All 6 girls are ridiculously good looking. Lots of shots of them in bikinis and skimpy outfits. I thought it was funny that they all brought like 2 changes of clothes on their picnic. I'd have been more concerned with adequate water for a hot afternoon lol.

Overall, this movie wasn't so bad. The preview I saw made it look pretty hopeless. I decided to watch anyway, and I don't regret it because this movie definitely gets a passing grade for its genre.

I think you are right. The movie was okay, but I think Lifetime TV is a women's channel and the last thing a woman wants is to watch bikinis and cleavage during two hours; about their acting is not even worth to talk about it.
I wish they showed more of the actors in the movie, Jack Hartnett(Anthony) is so HOT!!!!! and powerful, I wouldn't mind being STRANDED on an island with him.I think that Rafael (the hit man) and Jack Hartnett(Anthony)were great and their strength would have carried the whole movie.

As long as the movie is good, it shouldnt matter if there are 6 girls running around in bikinis. Also there are women that wouldnt mind watching 6 hot girls in bikinis, even if the movie was aweful. :D

Is lifetime even a "women's channel"?? I have never heard it called that. I know the WE channel is, but I think Lifetime has ever been specified as a womens channel. In the end though....the movie was clear that it was about a group of girls that gets stranded on an island...of course they are going to be in bikinis....so if you arent into that kind of stuff, then dont watch it. On the same note....the movie was about the group of girls...so why would they need to show more of the guys, it really wasnt about them.
