ending?

I watched "most" of this last night; the acting was horrendous! However, I am curious, can anyone tell me how it ended? I lasted until the friend and the guy were on a boat looking for the others. What was the twist?

reply

The twist was that the guy on the boat was really behind it all.......because he was crazy and really wanted the girl that was going to get married.........so he arranged this inorder to kill off the friends that he claimed "poisioned" her mind..........cause he wants to be with her.........so he paid for everything cause he's rich and his family is invovled with the mafia or whatever so he just got one of their hit man.......every girl died but the blonde the main girl(bride) and the girl that was on the boat comming to find them..............ummm I think thats it? They ended up killing the guy..........and the police comming to get them when the boat guy that left them there finally cracked

reply

There were two girls from the island that did not die and the girl on the boat was the one that shot the ex boyfriend psycho.

reply

the acting was horrendous huh? can you do better? thought not, anyways most of the people in this film had little to no previous acting experiences.

reply

I agree... I acually liked the acting. I thought Erica Durance did an amazing job acting. I enjoyed the movie.

reply

Um, yeah......actually I think anyone can do better......even if they had no experience whatsoever. Besides, I was asking about the ending; not your opinion on my opinion.

reply

I totally agree that the acting was "horrendous"....laughable at times. It pains me to watch this so called acting. Evident when the main chick opens a box left by the killer...it contained rings of the two dead girls. This chick's hand was shaking so forcibly as she showed the rings to the other two girls....made me laugh out loud.
Not all the girls died either as posted previously. Three remained of the
original five that went to the island. I thought the plot was pretty lame.

reply

Worst thing I've ever seen. I only watched it to laugh at it. It was so bad it was laugh-out-loud non-stop funny. WORST "Acting" I've ever seen. So, so horrible.

"Play it Sam. Play 'As Time Goes By'"
"Meet me in Montauk."

" Three remained of the original five that went to the island."

That's not true. Only two survived from the island and the girl that got there late survived. She was the one that shot the bad guy.....

reply

sounds dumb

reply

i am currently watching the movie and so far i would have to agree that the acting is bad, the filming is bad, and the writing is bad. but i like it. and its kinda in the beginning so i dont know yet

reply

No offense, but as in most any field where someone is being paid to do something, the question "could you do any better?" is, to quote a famous actor who played a famous attorney: "Incompetant, irrelevant and immaterial!".

Essentially whether or not a non-actor could or could not perform better doesn't matter. If a person is chosen to play a role and is unconvincing then they gave a bad performance as an actor. I would likely give a worse one - but I am not being paid to do the performance!!

reply

Yeah, the acting was bad, but I don't want to blame it ALL on the rookie actresses, but rather the horrible dialogue and ridiculous story. Good editing can make shotty cinematography look good, but a brilliant performance cannot save a terrible script. I really wasn't into the movie at all, but I kept watching just because I was enamored by that Regan chick. She's quite the looker.

Totally agree with you there dude.

Although I think her face is only average to a little above average. Her body is what makes her awesome eye candy.

I was into the movie the first hour and a half. I really wanted to know what was happening to the girls. I felt the build up was good, but when they explained about the "reality show" story, it went downhill from there. Then the girls seemed to make every bad decision they could. They kept talking about staying together and not seperating.....then they split up and one gets knocked off. I agree, the writing and dialogue was worse than the acting. The girls got sold me until the writing got worse and worse at the end

I caught a few moments of this movie on tv earlier today. The only part I saw was a scene around a fire where a girl was reading wedding vows or song lyrics or something. I was wondering if anybody knew what she said..it seemed kind of sweet, but I could be wrong. Seems like everyone thought the movie was really lack-luster, lol.

C’mon guys.
Yes. The acting was bad. But let’s be real. This is a made for TV movie, and the budget was probably $10,000 or even less. Just some friends saying, let’s do this. And with a low budget, there are no experienced directors/producers, possibly no retakes etc. I don’t think anyone involved was going for Oscar worthy performances- they probably did not even expect to get it to run on TV. I think they all know it was not good. And I think it they could have made it better if they had the budget and the time.
I give them props. The money from this will likely allow them to make a better one.

reply

Yup. Everybodys gotta start somewhere. And taken for what this was; low budget-girls in bikinis-girls in danger, it wasn't bad.

reply

Yes, the acting was bad. I missed the ending the first time I watched it. Tried to find out if anyone else. Then all of a sudden it was on again and actually I was a little let down by the ending. But did I watch it? I'll watch anything with a beach and palm trees. I'd probably watch it again and see if I can pick out the clues.

reply

Ya know, I'll agree with everyone. The acting was bad from the people who wern't really actors (Erica Durance did alright as usual), the cinematography was passable, and the script was lacking, but I overall enjoyed it. I actually didn't see the ex boyfriend on the boat being the bad guy coming. Not entirely bad. Will I buy it? No. Would I watch it again? Probably.

reply

One of the first things I notied about the script, in particular the dialogue between the girls was how real it was compared to most movies. They seemed to talk amongst themselves as real girls do. Can't think of any specific examples but does anyone else agree?

reply

When the girls were talking about the TV reality show they over talked each other and made it more realistic....

I saw this movie the other day, never heard of it but was flipping through the channels and it just started and had girls in bikinis so I watched. I agree with all the posters that the acting was horrible. Probably the worst acting I've ever seen. Amongst the bad actresses, the worst one was the girl who came a day late and came to save them. But in some ways it was still a halfway fun movie to watch. That one girl Regan had big breasts which were hanging out pretty nicely. The storyline was mostly dumb but did get a little fun at times, especially when it sounded like it might be a reality show. But really early on in the movie you pretty much realize its going to be the ex-boyfriend who is behind it somehow.

reply

First off, I enjoyed the movie. I've seen better, but I've seen a lot worse. The acting was ok, it was the dialog and the story that needed the most help. However, the idea behind the story was interesting. I know I've seen the situation somewhere else. The ended seemed a little rushed and predictable.

The ex-boyfriend was a little too eager to find the girls and save them. It was pretty obvious that he was in on it somehow. (Props to having Danielle shoot killer in the back with a harpoon gun.) Movies like this seem to always end the same. There are usually a few survivors and the killers are killed off right at the end. I think it was a little too predictable for the police to show up right after Danielle killed Anthony.

I think it could have been a lot better had the story been developed more and the writers thought outside of the box. A few more twists could have been put in there. It reminded me of a 1980s horror movie.

This movie was not shooting for an Oscar. It's a popcorn movie, one that you can sit back and watch lightheartedly.

Agreed. The most potential, I thought, was the "Reality Show" gimmick. For a few moments I thought was actually going to be a Reality Show that went wrong, i.e. the "dead' girl wrapped in plastic wasn't dead, and the scruffy bad guy that was harpooned was an "Oh Crap!" moment.

The girls were eye candy (Hell, I was hoping for thongs) but I got tired REAL QUICK of all the screeching and assorted hysterics. I wanted to smack some sense into the Regan or at least shut her up. (You could tell from the beginning she would be a weak reed - something you DON'T need in a tight spot.) Brienne De Beau, who played the bimbo, has continuing roles, so I guess she just got a bad script and part. She sure did a good job in that manner though, for she ticked EVERYBODY off. :-)

The only believable guy was the inspector, who had a too-short role.
