Limited release

Why is this film on such limited release? I have seen it twice, at 'arts centres' in Liverpool and Manchester, and thought it was a really good film, funny and sad at the same time. I just can't understand why it has not made it to the big screens (Odeon etc), it is so much better than a lot of the rubbish being shown there!
