It's just been re-released on SuperChannel HD in Canada. It's the first time I'm watching this movie, and I can say I watched the whole movie in about 20 minutes because I FF thru most of it. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, but I think it was "Made in Canada" probably for very little, so it's now being shown as "Canadian Content" on SuperChannel.
If Sci-Fi channel can actually put out the finances to film a movie like this, then I shouldn't have much trouble writing a script for my own sci-fi movie.

What about a random bear attack, which conveniently happens after the guy fell in the regenerative goo, which conveniently happened after he fell in the hole, which conveniently happened after the girl cut his hand off.
It's to bad the entire crew didn't get eaten by the bear.
First of all its just a movie,but, Those lever action rifles,winchester or marlin,are the best bush guns ever made for trekking thru the bush like that.its what i use and always have.You cant hardly hurt the damn things,they,ll function after being wet,muddy or used as a crutch or a debris clearer,or even a club.Mine is always with me out in the mountains.
