So, if you had to vote, was it a 1 or a 2?

I saw no option for a zero so I had to pick a 1. Which I felt was 1 more than
this was worth.

How low can SciFi channel go?

reply

I gave it a 2 out of pity for the actors. I can tell the actors are trying but there just isn't much there to work with. Everything else about it is a 1. There are plot holes big enough to fly a squadron of jumbo jets through, the special effects look like stuff you could do 10 years ago on a home computer, plus they keep reusing the same poorly done scenes over and over. Inconsistencies run rampant through out. The characters are a notch above vegetables in intelligence. Plus the whole political/environmental statement is thrown blatantly in our face.

Where does the Sci Fi Channel spend all it's money? It sure isn't on the budgets for these movies.

You don't get Scifi movies. Really bad Scifi movies are just as watchable as good ones. You should give 1's to the allright ones.

I enjoy watching campy or cheesy Scifi movies but SciFi rarely show those. Savage Planet is lame and weak story or badly told story which unfortunately makes up the majority of shows on SciFi.

reply

Yes, it didn;t have the same kind of campiness we expect from classics such as Sabretooth. This was just...boring.

reply

That movie was dreadful, it got my 1.

reply

are you guys kidding, this movie has SPACE BEARS!!! I gave it a ten, no matter how terrible and unwatchable it was.

what about the movie that cam on after it, with the mutant killer baboons.

reply

I gave it a "1". Hands down, this is the WORST movie I've ever seen in my entire life.

reply

This was painfully embarrassing for everyone involved. Perhaps the only thing that was half way good about this horrible movie was the city scene at the very beginning with the credits. After the credits it all just goes downhill. Since "1" is the lowest possible score, that's what I would give it.

IMDB has GOT to come up with a Zero or negative numbers.

Seriously.

I realize actors can only act with what they are handed but it would seem to me they could at least get together at the wrap party and have a burning at the stake of the writers.

The scientists from earth, did tests on the dead bear to determine what it was......WTF.....possibly the worst movie SciFi channel has ever churned out, I can't rate it, because it would insult B movies to give this even a 1.

reply

I found the first 10 minutes utterly unwatchable and like others, felt bad for the actors. Then I noticed comedic value so I'm about half way through it and have had some good laughs. As a sci-fi comedy, I would give it a 2. As a serious sci-fi film, a zero would be appropriate since it has no value whatsoever.

I gave it a 10 because of the cameo appearance by Yogi bear.
