Amicus Revisited?

Despite it's overlength and being handicapped by some fairly wooden acting, I enjoyed this film. Unlike many modern films it was easy to follow, unfussy and didn't jump around to different parts of the country, (almost the entire film being shot within a few square miles of East London).

It's ghostly finale reminded me of the "Tales That" compendiums that Amicus churned out thirty odd years ago, I'm sure that Milton Sobotsky and his team could have reduced it to a fifteen minute segment without any bother.

That would have made it only 15 minutes too long.

If it had been made by Amicus, at least it would have had style.
