Title track 'Anything' wtf?

My wife and I rented this from a redbox last night. (btw A good rule is that if you have never heard of it DON'T rent it from redbox. They have some real junk in there.) I thought the movie was okay until the last 15 minutes. The ending was totally crap. But the real reason for this rant is the title song. What the heck did that have to do with anything in the movie? The lyrics- "I can give you what you want" etc. had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the storyline whatsoever. Maybe I'm missing something but the soundtrack in general and that song in particular was very poorly planned in this movie.

Yeah the soundtrack sucked. I think they couldn't get the rights to anything good.

i thought this happens a lot? usually I get annoyed at the opposite when lyrics actually come close to describing what's happening in a scene. maybe it's just me.
