I haven't seen this in a while and I told my friend he doesn't run in this. I want to make sure I gave accurate information. Serious stuff. 

No he doesn't run...He mentions walking 3 miles and can make it there in something like 7 or 8 minutes... something not realistic,.

It takes an average of 20 minutes to walk 3 miles.

The average human walking speed is 3.1 miles per hour so it actually takes an hour. Had Reacher been running on world record time, it would still have taken him at least 13 minutes to run 3 miles.

I'm watching the movie now. He said 3 miles, I can walk it in 24 minutes

That's 8 minute miles (7.5 mph). You can walk that speed? I think the fastest speed walkers in the world top out a little over 5 mph, so you're quite gifted.
