Director Style - Gus Van Sant?

One of the things I liked best about the movie is the style used by Moverman.
I loved the scenes were long and shot from farther away. The extended scenes of dialogue remind me of a Woody Allen movie. The far away shots remind of Gus Van Sant. The kitchen scene was around 5 minutes in length on one single shot.

I hate comparing directors, and if you dont agree with the names then Im sorry.
