Fraternization
Seemed very unrealistic. Officers are demoted for any one of the things the Woody character does. Never been in the military but have around bases enough to know it's severely discouraged.
shareDiscouraged doesn't mean demoted, We had a captain and SPC caught together in bed and neither got punished.
shareI agree, saying he would be demoted is reaching. However, Captain Stone's relationship with Sergeant Montgomery was certainly inappropriate and unprofessional, given that one was an officer and one was an NCO. Being friends is one thing; going to bars, getting drunk, and picking up women together is totally different. That being said, it was not at all unrealistic for the characters to have this relationship; it happens all the time in the military.
