Most of the time, the audio in a movie is taken for granted, but my main nit with this movie is that the dialog is way too quiet and the music is way too loud. So of course, you turn the stereo up, then get deafened when the dramatic jazz music comes in. It's just waay out of balance, and being somewhat in the audio field, it really bugs the crap out of me.
shareI noticed the same problem. I happened to watch it when the batteries in my receiver remote had died; I must have gotten up to turn the volume up or down at least 15 times. Weird.
shareI have noticed this issue with a lot of docs lately, you can barely hear the people talking so you turn up the volume but then the music blares when they are done talking. And of course there are no subtitles so I can't leave the volume down and just read what they are saying.
shareI watched this on my iPad and thought it was just the s___ speakers, but I guess not. Really annoying. Interesting movie though.
