A piece of this incredible man's song was played in "Crazy Love". I never heard of Screamin' Jay Hawkins 'til I heard a piece of that song played. I looked up the few lyrics that were heard, found it on youtube, and now I am addicted to this song -- and his voice.

His voice -- and even his laughter -- Brings shivers up and down my spine.

WOWZA!

My broter played guitar in Hawkins' band back in the 1990s. He was on a world tour. My brother complained about how Hawkins got "sick" a lot. The band was paid for a performance. If it was cancelled, they got nothing.

I love that song, and it IS scary. One of the good things about the doc was it's music.
