She's pretty much the 3rd lead, but her screen time is probably only about 35 mins. I only watched the film for her as well haha :).

Good thing I came on here first, was about to buy it on DVD. Just because it had Zooey Deschanel in it! But *beep* it, if she's only in for about 35 mins I won't be bothered. I'll pick up a copy of Eulogy instead then.

Eugoley was great for zooey fans I own the dvd. glad I read this too. Zooey is amazing.

is good enough for any Zooey fan... her character is not the main one. but is in the most of the movie.. many more minutes than in THE GO GETTER for example.. and is an Zooey worthy movie
I DO WATCHED JUST TO SEE ZOOEY TOO!! LOOOVE HER!

OF COURSE IT IS WORTH IT..NO TRUE CINEAST JUDGES THE QUALITY OF AN ACTORS ROLE OR THE MOVIE ITSELF BY THE SCREEN TIME IN MINUTES OF ONE PARTICULAR ACTOR..GET REAL..I TRULY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE AND STILL WATCH IT EVERYTIME IT AIRS..FOR YOU ZOOEY FANS..THE ENDING IN ISELF IS WORTH IT..MAN WHAT AN ENDING..AS WHAT MANY OF THE REVIEWS CONSISTENTLY STATED..THE ENDING DOES NOT TIE UP THE LOOSE ENDS IN A PRETTY BOW..YET STILL ASTOUNDS..LOVE THE ENDING!

I'd say she's the second lead (and she's second-billed). Not sure who else would be, Harry Dean Stanton?

Definitely worth watching if you're a fan.

I've seen her in a half dozen or so movies and this one is easily her best performance. She's beautiful and very memorable in the role. Plus I didn't know she had such a pretty singing voice.

no it wasn't. She is an accomplished singer (she sings, plays piano and banjo in the indie band She & Him).

She & Him is awesome. their CD came out this year and rocked my socks off.

I enjoyed the CD as well...I don't think "rocked" is quite the right word, though. :)

she is a wonderful singer, I love the She and Him CD. it is getting a lot of best of year buzz.
thought that the scene of them back at her apartment before she leaves in the limo the next morning, the music in the background was music from the CD

Just saw this, she performed very well. I have yet to see a bad indie starring her, and I'm generally not a fan of the genre (for instance, I hated "Good Time Max").

This film encourages me to look up more of her indie work, can't wait.

...I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side...
