Ron telling Eve about the AZT article in The Lancet was pretty stupid

The Lancet is not only one of the world's oldest, but also one of the best known and widely respected medical journals in the world.

I doubt very highly Eve would have not already not only read this article, but known the details of it inside and out.

Especially considering that the AIDS topic was not only huge at the time, but so were the treatment outcomes regarding it. Add in the fact that she appeared to be an extremely caring physician, was very interested in AIDS and her AIDS patients, and had herself already been seeing negative side effects of the current high dose of AZT, and been questioning it.

She would have certainly known about this article.

For a patient to have to "bring it to her attention" was not only pretty insulting, it just rather stupid.
