The two GIRLS (you know which two I'm talking about!)

How often do you think "tragedies" like that happen in real life, even today when homosexuality is so much more accepted than it was even 10 years ago?

Those two girls were obviously TOTALLY in love - a kiss like that is hard to mistake. And the relationship wasn't given a chance because one of the two was afraid to "come out of the closet". Call me cheezy but that scene truly made me feel bad.

To me they had the most real feeling relationship in the movie. the rest of the characters seemed like wallpaper to me. if the movie would've been all about them I would've watched it.

I could relate to their storyline. unless you go to a gay bar or live alone than you have a hard time having some alone time. let alone a second to steal a kiss. just because it's 2009 doesn't mean homosexuality is accepted. it's definately not in my hometown.

Have you personally witnessed and/or experienced instances where two gays were in love but one's refusal to come out of the closet ruined the relationship?

reply

I can personally relate to their story. having no middle ground. no safe place to be myself or be alone with him. it eventually took a toll on my relationship and he broke up with me. we were both already out though.

The REAL question is, which of those two sick hotties were straight guys more jealous of? I can't decide.

reply

I can't decide either. I think I'm leading more towards being more jealous of Melonie Diaz.

I hadn't watched How I Met Your Mother yet when this movie came out and didn't immediately make the connection to this movie.

I've seen Itty Bitty Titty Committee though, and I've seen "enough" of Melonie to be more jealous of Lyndsey.
