Filmed in the summer, the fake snow...

...and Sun shadows ruined any feel of it actually being anywhere near Christmas!!!

Anyone else notice this?

My 3rd post about fake snow in movies...anyone would be excused for thinking I was obsessed with fake snow!

.. I'm not by the way...

I guess it depends on where you live and how much snow you're accustomed to. I always assume they use fake snow in movies anyway. Here in Middle TN we can go years without snow, or we can have a season where it snows a lot. Of course, a lot for us would be like flurries for someone from MN. We've gotten a few big bad snows in my lifetime, but not many. People who rarely see snow probably don't notice the difference in movies. If you're from MN or MI you definitely can tell if it's real or not.

What bugged me more than the snow was the fact that you couldn't see anyone's breath despite the fact that it was supposed to be cold (everyone bundled up in coats, hats and scarves). I would be watching scenes thinking "it's clearly warm, there's no visible breath vapor and people aren't even acting like it's cold"

Of course it's fake. Everyone outdoors for hours in winter temperatures. I'm surprised the neighbors didn't all get together to play tackle football and drink Gatorade.
