Few Questions *spoilers*

1. How did the security guard (who gets his hand cut off, Boris maybe?) know that the thing that turns the floor into a killer disco spiked trap was there? As in, he pulled the lever and turned it on Ivan, but how did he know it was even there? I might have missed a scene, but I thought it was just the skinny robber brother that got ruined by it. Did I miss something?

2. How did the elevators fence go away? It came crashing down when he opened the wire box, but then when he hot wires it at the end, the steel fence is gone, again, did I miss a scene?

All in all a pretty funny movie, but suffers from some piss poor pacing. Every time it would get funny with something actually happening, it would slow to a crawl, then explode into absurdity once more, only to become some dull plot point. It did this for 70 minutes or so until the end, which was pretty funny for the last 15 mins or so... maybe it was the editing, maybe the writing, who knows, but anyone feel/disagree with what i'm saying about the pacing?

1. The joke is that Boris the Incompetent Security Guard didn't know that the lever was there. He was just using it as something to try to grab onto while he was standing up. This was foreshadowed earlier when Ivan used it to kill Yuri the skinny robber but left the concealing cover open.

2. You missed a scene. In the security office with all the cameras and the spiked chair, the bank robber hacked into the computer and lifted the gate before disabling all the security cameras and computer with a convientley placed single power cord.

I enjoyed the movie alot, I went in expecting nothing at all and I think that worked nicely. Pacing is definately more "Euro" than "American Hollywood", and once you watch more of those movies it becomes less of an issue.

Ya, I thought the pacing was very typical "comedy of errors" type you find in foreign or older comedies. Things build up and there are laughs along the way, but towards the end the situation comes to a head and everything comes together in one final push of humor.
