As a type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetic I can confirm that it is possible to survive many days if not weeks without insulin.

i also have type one diabetes.. and i agree with you. Before being diagnosed, people with type one diabetes can go weeks or months in my case. Also your blood would most likely go high, not low. In that sense, the movie was very unreal.
