The Gas Station Attendant

If somebody is threatening you with a gun why wouldn't you just give him gas?

I know. That guy was retarded. Risking his life for the cost of a tank of gas? He didn't deserve to die, but I agree with what Lowman said, "He took too much corporate responsibility on his shoulders."

Kind of like her FBI agent partner in the flashback scene. Wouldn't you shoot a perp coming out of a bank pointing a gun at you, instead of waiting several seconds and allowing them to grab a hostage and shoot you?

This is an old post but I have to agree that someone dropped the ball as far as consultation. In the late 70's I temporarily worked at a convenience store and earlier drove a taxi. Both shifts were on the night shift. In orientation in both situations, I was strongly instructed to give a robber anything he/she asked for so they could be on their way. We were not to argue about anything. This was before the widespread use of security cameras and the only help we might be able to provide is what the person looked like and what they were wearing. No one there is supposed to try to be a hero and put themselves at risk.
