Tonight's last show.

I haven't watched the show in awhile ever since it started going downhill, but I forgot tonight was the last show so I just turned it on 30 minutes into it.
So I can't believe they have Jessica hosting! Hopefully they'll have Shandi.. and the other hosts on this episode too considering it is the last show. They had all the hosts on Mel's last night... so they better all be on this one. I mean.. it'd be nice if they did SOMETHING right.

Also, Jessica does not seem upset about this being the last night!

I agree. I haven't watched it much in the last six months, ever since Mel left. The show isn't fun anymore, too many format changes, too many uninteresting hosts (not counting Mel, Shandi, and Jessica), and the games are really dumb, extremely easy and people STILL get the answers wrong. I'm writing this while it's on the air. Yes, Jessica isn't acting at all upset that this is the end of an era. I've got some more valid criticisms of the show, but what's the point saying anything else? It'll be gone in an hour. Wish they had brought back Shandi and Mel for a last goodbye, though. Well, when it was good, it was a fun way to spend two hours. So long, Playmania!

I know, I seriously thought they would bring those 2 back. But honestly, even after all this time Jessica is STILL not a good host. She has given away ALL of the answers... this show seriously annoys me to watch (which is why I stopped.. just like you after Mel left and once they started acting like all they wanted was money from everyone and not to have any fun) but I can't turn it cause it's the last show! But she's given all the answers and it's bugging me. They obviously didn't care to make their last show fun.

I caught only the last half of the show and didn't know it was the final episode until then. So did they even mention Mel or Shandi? I can see that they wouldn't want to fly in Mel from England (assuming that's where she is and her schedule permits her to travel here) but I would have thought at least an email from her would have arrived. If there were no last goodbye visits from other hosts then it looks as though everybody concerned with the show was glad to be rid of it. I believe that host Jeff was there, but I never watched him enough to know if it was him.

One more thing. I was always amused by something that happened every episode:

The host would have some simple game going and would greet the next caller. "OK, what's your answer to the puzzle?"

The bewildered caller would say, "Ummm... I have no idea..."

If they had no clue what the solution was, THEN WHAT DID THEY CALL IN FOR??

I'll be pondering that well into my old age....!
