Anything with Kevin Durand is a must-see.

As much as I like the idea of it, I'd have to say that any movie about a modern ballclub would have to stretch the truth in order to make things interesting. Modern ballplayers are pretty bland and colorless compared to past generations. The mid-1980s Mets were the last truly interestingly dysfunctional team. In fact, it was as if the 1977-78 Yankees had been reincarnated in the form of the 1986 Mets.

I think it was Ron Luciano who said that the modern baseball player is "as colorful as a ghost eating a mayonnaise-on-white-bread-sandwich in a snowstorm."

NOt enough time has passed by for people to get nostalgic about that era. Give it another 30 years.
