So is she dead, or isn't she? Hearing her voice on her phone in the last scene, while seeing the illegal abbatoir being "cleaned out" made me think she was murdered. But maybe I'm reading too much in that last scene. And I was still upset about (without trying to spoil anything) the last scene that had Geddes in it, so not paying attention enough.

So it was as I thought.
Me being so upset about Geddes' last scene is perhaps a sign that the story was well written. I think that was the effect that was intended. It surely came as a shock! And it did make me feel very sad, but as an ending to the story it was the right thing to happen.
When the shot jumps over to the abbatoir and we hear Sinada's phone ringing in the distance, as the dump truck takes a shovel load of garbage you can just about make out an arm dangling from the crane...

shareWhat a nice person you are, Frostrose. Yes, I am being sarcastic. ;) It was a very good film with some top notch acting and a very sad ending for all involved. She did not deserve to die just because she was a prostitute. That's harsh. I expect you're a bit bitter. ;) Anyway, I highly recommend this film for Mark Strong fans. Another brilliant performance!
