In the USA there is no statue of limitations on homicide.

In the ending scene Mina and Dae-woo speak of her coming back to Korea after the time limit or something on the crimes has expired?? Does anyone know if there is a statute of limitation on murder in Korea?

In 2006, when this movie was released, the statute of limitations on homicide cases in South Korea was 15 years. It was extended to 25 years in December 2007. I've seen articles about plans to abolish it entirely, but I don't know whether such legislation has actually gone into effect.
