Twelve times did the iron register of time beat on the sonorous bell metal

The date and time aren't confirmed, but it looks like June 19th at 9pm. I read a review of the programme in which the reviewer thought Mattew Rhys was miscast as Byron, but the rest of the cast were perfect.

Matthew Rhys is fab.

I think that's why the critic didn't like him. He's too handsome. Don't get me wrong; I love Matthew Rhys, but Lord Byron was supposed to be scrawny, was supposed to have club foot. The last time I checked, Matthew Rhys had neither of these things. But his acting is great, so ah well. The critic will just have to suck it up.

I've been reading up on Byron lately and the consensus seems to be that Byron's weight fluctuated alot. He did a lot of crash dieting to be slim and fashionable,(the fade diet at the time being to only eat potatoes with vinegar), but he would probably have naturally have carried a little more weight if he ate right. But at other times (particularly when he was in exile in Italy) it was reported by friends that saw him that he started binge eating and gained a lot of weight. He then proceeded to diet like mad again when he got involved in the Italian and Greek Independence movements and it's said that in Greece before he died he was only eating biscuits.

Some even think that his poor eating habits may have in part weakened him in the end to contribute to his death. I think it's interesting that the crazy ideas that we have about diets are no where near being new. People were crazy far before us!
