well in the movie, when she went to court for a while, her lawyer made her wash the dye out of her hair, style it differently, and wear more conservative clothes that weren't all black.
...but yeah, i do agree that the movie kinda ran with stereotypes. i personally don't know if she always dressed in all black. but either it's because, like in the movie, they made her dress more conservatively, or because the movie was just running with the stereotype of "goth".
She looks like uncle fester.
Also, enough with the lame, " people cant accept that fact that shes different " excuse. If someones attractive or not depends on personal preference. If i call her uncle fester, it doesnt make me a bad person, Im just stating my opinion, and im not going to sugar coat it just to make sure some kid doesnt get their panties up in a bunch

shareThat is a photo from a magazine. She didn't look like that on a daily basis. Especially before her goth makeover. I would take out my 8th grade year book and show you what she looked like then, but I don't think she would appreciate that very much. I only said she was unattractive becuase of my own personal tastes, not becuase she's "different" or "goth" and although I regret posting that now, you need to remember that she wasn't all that different. There were a bunch of kids at Union just like her, including myself at one point..So, get over it.

in my opinion, you two are acting stupid for arguing in such a stupid manner over a girl you just saw in a picture. ppl are fat, skinny, dark haired, light haired... the fact of the matter here is that no one can help what genes they get, so you should get to know the person before you just label her unnatractive and move on. ya.. i agree maybe the heavy eye makeup doesnt do a thing for her, but behind that, who knows...

After seeing this movie a couple nights ago on LIFETIME and seeing the photos of her she's not what i imagined at all. She looks nothing like how they depicted her in the movie. I think she's cute and that's sad that this happened to her...
Nobody should have to go through this. I only wish Brandi and her family could've got some kind of money settlement out of this. I mean she didn’t even get an apology from the school board and town. They should be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully this movies message will teach others NOT to judge and rush into rash panics before investigating first.
