So what did you all think?

I think this movie had major potential, but honestly I found it amusing in only small doses. The story wasnt a bad story at all and I think Steve Burns really did a great job as Otto. I'd like to see more of Steve in other movies, I think the guy has a big career ahead of him outside the Blues Clues history.

I felt that the movie had the look of a low class B rated film. The sound editing wasnt that great and at times, the score of a movie can really make or break it... well in this case, I think it hurt it at times.

I'm a big Jason Mewes fan and when he spoke, I actually cracked up inside because I'm waiting for him to say, "Snootchie Bootchies" or something. Amy Davidson was also really good, opposite of Steve BUrns. The actors themselves werent bad really, but I think just certain parts of the filming were lacking.

I'll give it another shot on DVD, but if I had to give it a star rating, I'd probably give it a 2 3/4 stars.

i thought this movie was awesome. my friend and i never stopped laughing for the whole movie, and the plot and acting were great. i actually have the trailer downloaded from their myspace, and now i have it on my phone. i like the score just fine, and didnt have any problems with the sound at all. i cannot wait to see this movie again and i'd really like to know when it comes out on dvd.

I think the sound editing does need a little work, but it was a well paced film with a great plot. The scored seemed fine to me too, it didn't detract and it was very fitting for the tone and it enhanced the pacing.

Steve Burns was amazing in this film, he really made the role his own, I had never seen him outside of 'Blues Clues' and I for one was really blown away. What a great, GREAT comedic actor. Not only great at the comedy, but he's got heart. Phenominal job by the entire cast for that matter.

What a fun flick. I hope this one gets picked up. My best to Netherbeast Incorporated. This film was the highlight of the Phoenix Fest for me.

I thought this movie was a 'gem'. Simply brilliant, very funny, very well acted, great scripts, unusual storyline, absolutely fantastic.

I stumbled upon this movie on another movie website. I thought it would be OK for a rental, so I ordered it. I thought the movie was nice. Not great, but I did like it enough to watch it twice. I giggled quite a bit.

For some reason my favorite part is where they are arguing about the points of the tortoise and the hare fable. They argue to the point of almost a fist fight over it;

"That rabbit was an a$$ hole!!!"
"You don't even know that rabbit!!!"

Then Turner calming it down and talking about the flaws of the rabbit ".....narcolepsy and poor sportsmanship among them...."

I like that it's peppered with little quirky funny bits. Darrell Hammond's delivery is amusing. A plot I've never seen before.

It's worth a rental. A nice way to spend a little time.

It was okay, but the plot could of been better. It made me laugh a few times!

The first scene was great. I really thought we were in for a good movie. Darrel Hammond is such a talented and appealing actor, he could have carried this whole thing by himself. Add Dave Foley and you've got a movie I can't help but love.

But then as soon as that first scene was over, the movie fell flat on its face and never got up. This was possibly the stupidest story they could have come up with. All the little narrated explanations were so irritating and unnecessary. Every time the narrator had to explain some idiotic vampire crap I just yelled SHUT UP AND GET TO THE MOVIE! Honestly, there are so many dumbass "vampire" movies and TV shows where they go through so much explanation of how vampires are "like this", but not "like this"... Why do they think we care? Tell the story and get on with it.

The depiction of vampirism in this movie makes no sense anyway. These "vampires" eat human flesh because of an extra gland on their heart. Big deal. But, they also have a big magic rock that they have to stay close to... What dumbass sci-fi nerd thought that was a good idea?

Amy Davidson? F Amy Davidson. Her dumbass scene about how turned on she gets by ventriloquists was so stupid that I will never respect an actress who wouldn't turn down that part. Steve Burns is a Simon Pegg wannabe. Too late, there is already a Simon Pegg. This movie wasted my time. The only reason I watched the whole thing was for the parts with Darrell Hammond and Dave Foley.

We thought it was funny, if a bit slow at times. Some truly funny scenes if you can sit through some more boring vampire mythos (like you said, every movie changes it, we don't care anymore), and Steve was pretty good with what they gave him. Hammond did much better than any of us expected, and Foley was great as usual

But scrap raises a few more good points. The gland/retardation thing was a bit much, but permissible as this is a comedy first and a horror second obviously. But like you said, the "giant red rock that gives them powers" idea was just lame on every level, and reflects some pretty poor writing skills. That's the best reason they could give for Nelsons' character to be the traitor? It could've been anything, seeing as how the red rock added NOTHING else to the film, other than to get them in the same room for the showdown.

All in all though, some good dialogue and acting makes this worth a $4 rental at least...

I really wanted to like this movie, but I found it really slow and to be honest quite boring! There were a few funny moments but apart from that it wasn't funny at all to me! I too found the parts explaining the vampire-thing really long and pointless! Shame, cause it could of been a really good movie!
