O’Hara has no charm; Keitel is miscast; Mol is misused; Imperioli is superfluous.

Jimmi Simpson... Sam Tyler
Brendan Gleeson... Gene Hunt
Zooey Deschanel... Annie

Funny I thought it was beautifully cast.....I liked the character development over the "season/series"...I loved it minus one episode but oh well can't win them all.

I am so glad you are not on the movie/ television industry . I couldn't disagree more!! Loved Jadon as Sam. HE made the show x

Jason O'Mara is a great actor- hands down a plus to any show he's in. His acting is aces - his body....(swooning) is luscious. Lol no comparison to the UK version of Sam. ??

Couldn't agree with you more about miscasting.

O'Mara isn't bad, but there's no chemistry between him and Mol. Imperioli would have been a better Sam or even a Gene. O'Mara could have pulled of Ray amazingly. Never thought of Zooey Deschanel, but yeah, I'd actually agree with that. I personally think they should have kept Colm Meaney as Gene. He could have pulled it off.
