Why so Much hate against different people?

I am a bisexual and recently came out of the closet at my school to my friends. Some were cool wit it.Some got used to it and then there were the others. They kept harrassing me and sending me mean and threatening ims asking me why do I like cock and men.I know this may not be similar to Gwen's life story but I feel her pain.Even though I do not dress as a women people once they found out looked at me the way they did to Gwen.It didn't feel good at all.Why are people so hatefule and homophobic against gays, bis and transgenders?I just thought I'd share this and I guess I came out of the closet on you guys to.haha, well I love this movie and Gwens' bravery.

Have a nice day.

B/c people are scared of what they don't understand and people HATE what they're scared of.

But there is A LOT of hate in the gay/trans community itself. A LOT of gay people hate trans people. A lot of trans people hate OTHER trans people, for various reasons, like if they are not passable enough, or they don't have SRS or FFS, etc.. Or if a trans woman likes other WOMEN and identifies as LESBIAN some trans people will say she's not really trans.

A lot of gay people hate BISEXUAL people say that they are really just closeted GAY! That one I will NEVER understand.

Most people see things that are and ask "why?", I dream things that never were and ask, "why not?"

You mean, you CHOSE to date girls just to prove a point? Thereby backing up all those ignorant people who say that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, as opposed to a natural attraction?
Ummm - good job there, Fredi ...

It seems like MORE people are open to the fact that WOMEN can be bisexual, BUT if a man says he's bisexual, people will tell him he's just a closeted gay.
Very ignorant!

Well sure - a bisexual girl clearly means she's open to all sorts of threesomes etc - and basically is a hot sexy male fantasy plaything rather than an actual person with genuine romantic attractions to both genders. Whereas a bisexual man - c'mon, straight blokes can't do anything with that, therefore making him a freak!
Um, I'm being sarcastic - but I do think that the way a lot of people see it. It's kinda COOL to be a bisexual girl, which is why so many teenage girls fake it, kiss their friends for fun or (to put a more positive spin on it) feel free to actually experiment and see if maybe that IS something they're into

I agree with this statement 100%. I am a genuine bi woman. i am open to having a romantic relationship with another woman but nearly every single bi woman i've met all have a boyfriend and only want me to have a 3some with them and have their boyfriend there. lol

it makes me so mad cos it's like they aren't even bi. they are just pretending to be bi for their boyfriends.

due to my experience. i have been turned off by other bi women. i now only go for lesbian women because i know.... lesbian women are not in it to please their boyfriends. lol

Because people don't like things or people who are different, even I am a biggot towards Polygamist. I hate being a biggot, really I guess I just believe that we as human beings are too greedy to be sharing the same partner, you know what I mean? I am okay with Homosexuals male or female, transgenders are fine by me as long as no one is hurt or violated or anything like that. I was in tears when I saw the story of Gwen Araujo and I began to pray for the safety of all homosexuals and transgenders.

Anyways my prayers out to you, be safe and be careful, God be with you, peace out!

Please excuse the Star Wars reference, but Yoda said it best:

"Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

Such is what saddens me about this so-called "society" of ours. When encountered with something that is different or unfamiliar, it's easier to simply fear it. It's human nature to have hostile feelings towards what we don't understand. Why bother taking the time to EDUCATE oneself when it's so much easier to just stay ignorant & allow hatred to take over? Sad. :(

Yeah, I get a few laughes when I'm in public sometimes, and the classic, "Is that a guy or girl" comment, they usually whisper it but make SURE they say it in your earshot where you can still hear it.

I have advice!! Do the same thing to THEM!!! laugh at them for making such remarks, and make all kinds of faces of contempt so they would see it. Believe me it works. They think you're less of a human or what, so please DON'T make out of yourself a victim.

reply

Well I DO do that when I'm with other people, but that's kinda hard to do when you're ALONE in public, usually if you're by yourself and do that back to people it just makes them laugh at you and make fun of you even more.
