The Beginning Scene with his Dad and Brother
What was the deal with him talking about his dad and his brother beating him at ping pong as kids? i was expecting some kind of conflict resolution.

Gary may be the main character, but the movie focus on the team and there dilema, and in the end its them who end up as the heroes...
