Deadly dull: no action, no tension - 2/10

Dont' be fooled by the insider reviews or the apparent heavyweight theme, it's actually a very dull movie. Got through half and nothing much happened - there's no action and no tension - just a lot of BS deep and meaningfull drivel that's supposed to be dialogue and lots of gratuitous dirty sex about which we're supposed to be highly impressed. The director wants us to believe the lead actor with the long stares and the few words is the ultimate in cool. It's more like a few brains and the ultimate fool. He can't act, perhaps that's his problem. Yawn! 2/10

agreed. the only thing that kept me watching was me wanting to find out when and how markie would find out about the affair.

Was it worth the effort? How did he find out, and what did he do? I'd appreciate a 2-line summary. I don't think I could stomach the 2nd half. Thanks.

Yeah I agree it kind of fell flat.. The movie and premise had potential, but they missed out on adding some suspense.

It's kind of ironic how Markie said his script needed more drama in the movie.. because I was thinking that about the movie itself lol

Yeah, wonderfully ironic - I missed that bit. Thanks. But I agree with you about the potential of the concept. Perhaps that's why I hauled off and gave them such a serve - the waste of a such good opportunity.

agree totally. could only stomach 30 minutes and could not care less what happened next, very disappointing.
