It didn't take very long watching this before I felt like I was watching Dumb and Dumber with only a different background story for the two main characters. Still not very funny.

Correction - Dumb and Dumber was a more intelligent comedy in comparison to this tripe

By that logic isn't dumb and dumber just bill and ted but a few years later? Point is dumb and dumber didn't invent the 'two idiots do stupid things together' trope, it's been around long before that movie.
