I was on the discovery store website, and I was thinking about buying this dvd set. they offer a "standard" and a blu-ray collection. Looking at other sites, it seems like the standard is actually a HD-DVD. Is this true? I don't have a HD player or a Blu-ray player, so I would hate to purchase the standard one and not be able to play it! thanks!

You can also purchase it in standard DVD with other sets like the Planet Earth(edited Discovery version) or Seaside Sunrise sets for a bit of a discounted price.
