Weather or Not Dumb episode?

I'm sure you know what I mean when I say that this certain part of the episode is just plain dumb. The part where four of the Rangers are trapped under the ice and they know that Mack will be coming to rescue them so they start to act all casual in their zord cockpits with Rose reading, Will listening on his headphones, and Dax knitting not too sure what Ronny was doing though. I just thought this was just stupid. The Rangers were trapped under the friggin' ice and they knew that Mack was gonna come rescue them now how the hell did they KNOW that? In the old days when the Rangers were in peril they acted like they were in peril, not act like a bunch of twits. It would have served them right if Mack left them all to freeze to death, because it just showed you that the OO crew were just arrogant knobs who thought the world revolved around them. I thought Mack was the only Ranger who had a bit of heart and feeling about him and he was nothing more than a synthetic android with no heart anyway and he had more emotion than his jumped up teammates. I mean whatever happened to characters like Jason and co. that you could warm to and accept as positive role models? They were ordinary high school teenagers and they were WAAAY more mature and down to earth than those OO jerks!!!!

Sorry for going off on one there, it's just that Disney's writing especially Bruce Kalish's really gets to me!!!
