A review that goes too far...

I understand that people and kids will have gotten sick of the old Mickey Mouse and other Disney films and shows, but this one is absolutely terrible. The questions Mickey Mouse asks could be answered by a one-year-old if it knew how to talk. They also ripped off the characters: Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Minny, Daisy and Donald. And that is not all.
I know I am not a kid anymore, but even I know what is a good kids show; Bear in the Big Blue House, for example. In this one, Mickey and the others have hardly any personality. Mickey is always smiling and knows what to do. Kids will love this, but I find it very stupid. Almost every episode rips off as much as a sequel does to a fairy tale or Disney classic. That is how the stories are here.
Also, that catchy but awfully unsuitable kids song, "Hot Dog". Everyone dances like a retard, especially Goofy. This is bad for kids to watch as they may learn to dance inappropriately. However there is more here. Mickey uses something called "Mousketools" to solve problems from a little flying machine shaped like Mickey's head. It is a bad name and the tools are ridiculous. I know that they wanted to make this simple for kids, but it will give them stupid ideas. How about gluesticking broken keys from the piano back to their places. That would really work, haha. You need superglue for that and superglue might not even be enough. Also, using a fishing rod to catch Goofy off his glider when it is out of control. Wouldn't the fishing rod break? There is much more about this, but I shouldn't need to explain it.
The colours and animation are poor. The backdrops and landscape are so poorly-designed a 4-year-old could make it a lot more better. This will fill kids with bad imaginations. Stuff like this should not be watched. I would rather show Hayao Miyazaki's (make of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle) Princess Mononoke to my younger brother, even though it is quite violent. At least it would give kids good imaginations lifewise. Miyazaki teaches great things to kids. Not some of that; "be heroes and be brave (like in one Dora The Explorer episode)" or "Wow, you saw it right behind me, you have good eyes". I am not saying that playhouse should show anything violent. It is just that what they show on playhouse is sometimes not useful for kids growing up and some of it can easily be learned at school.
This kids show could not be much worse and must not be viewed. What has happened to the old Disney? What has changed Playhouse Disney so much? Parents, take precautions before showing this to your kids, because if you want them to be dumb for the rest of their life, you should choose to buy this.
Dude seriously what the hell man...
First off how do you Rip off characters when they are the SAME characters?? already you sound like a jackass.
And I love how you automatically know a good kids show, while I will agree that Bear in the Big Blue House was a good one, what else do you find so wonderful?? Cause their is a lot of garbage out their and if you name a single one of those shows, I can prove you are full of crap. And what are you talking they lack personality... they act like they always have for the last 70 years. And yes kids will love it and of course parents will find it stupid... my daughter LOVES this show, and when I am watching with her I find myself saying "wow... really??" But it's not geared toward the adults, it's geared towards the kids. And your analysis of the episodes "ripping off" makes no sense since you don't say what they rip off, you give some vague analogy and that's it...
As for the Hot Dog song... you really find that inappropriate? HOW?!?! and as for the dancing what is inappropriate?? what the hell are you watching?? Goofy dances goofy, that's his personality, which you claim is lacking, The others aren't doing anything inappropriate. And most kids in the age range the show is aimed at, they have little "dancing ability" unless they are in some dance classes at that age, My daughter is 2 and she sways back and forth and jumps around... Oh My GOD she's moving around, this must be stopped... And as far as the "Mousketools" EVERYTHING in the show is somehow tied to Mickey's name, for someone with such hatred you really know nothing. And how are they rediculous, some of them are fairly inventive, yeah a glue stick on the piano keys is far fetched... but do you want preschoolers using super glue?? dumbass... and again it... and follow me here cause this is the main point you fail to keep grasping... It, is, a, kids, show, sometimes, a, suspension, of, belief, needs, to, be, applied.
As for the production quality, maybe in New Zealand they send you the crappy copies, but here stateside, the show is CG animation, the colors are sharp, and the animation is good quality, the landscapes are designed well the motion of the characters is good, and when things are wet, they even have proper light reflections on them. And now you complain this is almost like Poison for children an admitted violent cartoon. Good Sir you have now just proven you truly are an idiot, claiming that a Violent Cartoon will encourage an imagination, encourage them to what? harm something? fight someone? Playhouse Disney is designed for the PRESCHOOL aged children, yes ALL of this can be learned in school... but the age range that most of the kids watching these shows the kids are NOT in school yet. It is meant for a child to get some sense before going to school.
Next time you go to review something try using an objective mindset and not one of just hating a show because you find it stupid... and I find it funny that you use Miyazaki as the answer to Disney. since he is considered the Disney of Japan.
Sorry, two's company, and three's an adult movie.
