IS THIS FILM RACIAL PROPAGANDA??????????? ??????????????

Is it one sided? Race baiting?

reply

New Orleans had two options:

A) Explain how we could be so stupid to allow this to happen;

B) Play the race card.

Naturally, Spike chose B.

I wonder if Obama's spiritual provider, Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., will pin Katrina on white people.

After all, he said that white people created AIDS and drugs to kill the black people, and said we deserved 9/11.

reply

Hey....If Rev. Wright, Jr hates America so much he is more than welcome to go back to Africa. But I bet he won't. I bet he's never even been there!

Well...that's very Christian. Believe what I say or I'll hit you.

I find it very bothersome that Hussein Obama would continue to attend a church in which so much racism is preached.

If I attended a church where the preacher used the "n" word to describe blacks, or blame the spread of AIDS on them, I'd be changing churches the next day.

This coming from someone who writes "Hussein Obama".

I'm sure you've attended a couple of sermons where the n word has been dropped.<<

His name is Barack Hussein Obama...sorry, that's just the way it is...get used to it.

If President Bush can be called "Hitler," then I can call Obama by his middle name.

And no, I haven't attended a single sermon where the word *beep* was used...are you kidding me?

For hatred to be taught in a church is unusual...it's why Hussein Obama is catching flack for it.

"Have you seen his piece The Confederate States Of America? Blantant racism."

Spike Lee did not make CSA, it was made by man named Kevin Willmott and Spike Lee was nothing more than a "Presenter" which is nothing more than him, Lee, lending his name to give the film more publicity. I did not think the film was great, but I did not see it as racist. It was a movie that showed what might of happened if the South won the Civil War. I find it hard to believe that slavery would still exist in America if the Confederacy won the war, but hey it was an interesting concept.

Only if seen through white eyes.

reply

defensive shifty sensitive white eyes, *beep* all of y'all whiteys pretending racism doesn't exist and couldn't possibly be a factor, and claiming other races are 'playing the race card' while being racist yourselves ("i dont trust those negroes judgement of the situation, i'll wait til a white face i can trust says it" type attitude)

reply

I can see why some people might think so, but I am a white woman who lives in New Orleans and I have to say, it was a very accurate documentary. New Orleans' population is 68% African American so the documentary is going to seem racially biased, but it's really because of the population. Spike Lee did an excellent job of showing what happened during Katrina.
