I'm not homeless, i'm moving

Yea, not too shabby. Some great moments with real belly laughs like when he says' you expect me to let EVERYONE know that i've moved just so they know where to send the mail?'. Found it a bit forgettable though, i'm in recovery myself and i'd like to see a comedy about it that really hits home as well, anyone out there got any recommendations?

Couldn't agree more webb, some great scenes, but overall it's a but forgettable, but nevertheless still an enjoyable film. I am in recovery as well, so movies trying to tackle the subject appeal to me. As for other films that tackle the subject in a comedic way....well I'm having some trouble thinking of any....and I consider myself a film buff and spend to much time watching films......I know of many serious/dramatic films on recovery....but I'm sure you've seen plenty of those.

As for comedies relating to the subject of recovery....I'll try to list some....and they aren't necessarily "great" films......

"28 Days" (sandra bullock is an addict who goes to rehab..but it's actually a decent lighthearted comedy)

damn....I can't think of any real comedies tackling the subject....either I am too sober or there's not really any funny films about it.....?

As for good movies about recovery/rehab/mental illness that aren't comedies:

"Basketball Diaries"

"Manic"

"On the Edge"

"Things We Lost in the Fire" (suprised me, Benicio Del Toro is great as a crazy addict(fear and loathing) or in a serious recovering role)

"One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" (had to include it)

to many others to name....to bad there aren't more comedy based films tackling these subjects....probably a bit risky.....
