Very nice movie but is this one thing even possible?

So he was recovering when he woke up from his coma...we see scenes of him learning letters like A,D..etc...pretty soon we see him walking towards his wife and he's able to talk in a normal way..almost as if nothing had happened.

And then he walks into the police station, talking in a normal way, everything pretty much back to normal. Wouldn't this take a lot longer? If even recover from such a thing like that? He recognizes his wife, but doesn't know remember anything anymore about the night he got shot...that possible?

But this really wasn't a big deal...maybe i am wrong here about it. I liked the movie alot, definitely different from what Van Damme usually does...i also saw JCVD today and i am really pleasantly surprised by the direction he seems to be going. His next movie sounds very interesting too.

I think it took a long time but this is an action movie with a bit of drama not a dram with a bit of action,so they didnĀ“t went that way

Yeah, it did seem like it sort of flew over that fairly quickly.

but as was said already this film is basically a action film with some drama more than a drama with some action.

He recognizes his wife, but doesn't know remember anything anymore about the night he got shot...that possible?

i am pretty sure it is because while i have not been in that exact situation i apparently smacked my head pretty good from dumping a dirt bike in back yard on July 20th (roughly 8pm-ish) of this year (went to hospital and has some cracked ribs etc) and while i don't remember even driving the dirt bike that day (i do remember a bit before that and supposedly i was roughly driving the bike for about 5 minutes or so from what i was told) after roughly 12hours later my mind came back as prior to me remembering when my mind came back on forward they said my mind was pretty much shot as i did not even know who the president was etc and basically was not making sense.

plus, i most likely was not doing anymore than 10-15mph (surely no more than 20mph TOPS) when i dumped it in the back yard due to the location of the bike. so even though i don't remember driving the bike that day i got a pretty good idea what happened that caused me to lose control of the bike and dump it.

so basically my point is... i suppose it's possible given my particular incident above. but then again a shot to the head seems a lot more serious in general vs smacking your head on the ground a bit.

I liked the movie alot, definitely different from what Van Damme usually does...i also saw JCVD today and i am really pleasantly surprised by the direction he seems to be going.

Yes, Until Death/JCVD are Van Damme's most memorable films since his glory days of 1988-1994.
