i thought it was ok. there are a few different story lines that you think are eventually going to cross, but don't. and there were something that i felt were left unresolved.
i can see that it was meant to be though provoking, and while it is, the whole movie seems flat.

what do you think about the director's filming technique for this one?

i've never seen any of the director's other movies, so i can't compare them. i thought the filming seemed very low budget, like a tv show or indie film. one section even reminded me of a bad porno. some scenes dragged on, and others seemed to be cut short. and no, there was no action scenes.
some scenes were decent, but as a whole, i did not like the cinematography at all.
what you thought about the boy that played Derrick? I thought he was great, since this is all new to him.
