No info, no trailer, no nothing

This movie is supposed to be released on July, and still there's no info or trailer about it?

I was there, and it is a very good film (and yes, I have a small part in it). It is very well shot, and very well acted. The script has a lot of subtleties that the cast address very well, and this is a film that I think will stick with you.

reply

hehe i recognized you. You're Hal Perry.

I already emailed you about 1 year ago asking you some infos on the movie as i'm a fan of the Director.

How is work doing? you're getting any other parts on some other films?

I liked you on Home.

did you find out any info as to when it will be released?

reply

Abby - I had heard July of '07, too, but not from a reliable source. I asked about getting a copy from the production company, and they told me they didn't know when it would be ready. So that seems to mean that nothing has been set yet.

I will say that the film seemed incomplete at the screening a couple of months ago. I don't mean that in a negative way, but that's just a vibe I got. So probably more post work is being done on it.

Bincue - Yes, I remember you from your comments on my blog. And thanks for the compliment! Good luck!

halperry98-Thank you so much for the info! I was at the screening too (at Fox). Is that what screenings are for? To see if they need more work or something before a film get's released? I just always asumed that a screening meant this is the final product. I agree with your coments on the film completely.
Thanks again for your reply!

How was working with Joseph Merhi?

He did amazing action movies in the 80s-90s

reply

Joseph is a wonderful guy. He was great to work with on set. He gave me a certain amount of artistic freedom, while still reinforcing the story line and what drives the character. Which is what a great director should be. I only spent a day filming, but I had a blast and the cast crew, and all the people where nice to me...

Are you the one that robed the maid? If so, yes you were in it and did a wonderful job. I wouldn't want you trailing me on my way home! You were great!

reply

I just was wondering how my son did. We could not make it to the screening. His played the character "Derrick".

He played the kid that died at the end right? If so: OUTSTANDING would be my review!

reply

abby, Thank you!! Good to hear I freaked you out! Haha

"He did amazing action movies in the 80s-90s"?

You got to be kidding. He did loads of low-budget action JUNK in the 80s and 90s. The man's got no talent for framing shots.
