I wonder...
I wonder why almost no one seems to have heard of this film outside South-Africa. Not much information about this film exists online and there are barely any posts on this particular forum, even though this film is better than most Hollywood films I've seen so far. Could it be because it makes the post-Apartheid South-African government look bad? Could it be that in spite of portraying Lucky as a Robin Hood figure or a victim of poverty this film still makes black South-Africans look bad? Is the message of this film just too politically incorrect?
Whather it may be, I loved this film and it's probably the best gangster movie I've been in a very long time.
