I can't believe how foolish I was...

Hey there,
I am a major action movie fan, particularilly DTV action movies. But I've been sticking more with Dolph and Van Damme, plus Chuck Norris' The Cutter.

I'd been reading alot about Seagal's new efforts at had a couple fat koe chcukles at his expense, but never sat down and watched one of his new films. I guessed that the critics were probably just blowing it out of proportion. I mean, how could the same guy who made "Marked for Death" and "Under Siege" make films THIS bad, right? So I rented Flight of Fury.

Ten seconds in, warning signals went off. "Waitaminute, is that the theme from... Agent Red?" Stealing something from Dolph Lundgren's worst movie (which had already been stolen from a Micheal Dudikoff movie) was definitly not the best way to get me interested.

90 minutes later, I feel a hole in the very essence of my soul.

Dear god, I still can't believe how low he has fallen, what the hell happened to this man?

Contracts happened. I read an interview where he stated that he hates his recent movies but is obligated by contract to appear in them. He goes on to mention how the movie industry screwed him over and how bitter he is about it.

Regardless of how he feels about his movies, he still wasted 100 minutes of my life today. I sat through the entire movie, and those are valuable minutes I lost. It would help if he would actually talk instead of mumbling. Half the time, I couldn't even understand what he was saying, even though it hardly mattered; because I assume his dialogue was as ridiculous as everyone elses'.

[begin sarcasm] Amazing how other actors manage to not get screwed by the industry. [/end sarcasm]

Yeah! Right. Was in under contract to write scripts too. He wrote (one of the writers) the script.

I didn't even make it to the end. That's quite an achievement, given the amount of dreck I have sat through from start to finish. I simply couldn't bring myself to finish it.
