My friend's review on Flight of Fury

I rented the newest Steven Seagal film, Flight of Fury, or shall I say, Flight of Donkey Sh*t.

I swear, it's bad. You can tell they dubbed the hell out of his voice and used major stock footage from the military. The storyline is laughable. I mean, at least try to make a believable story.

I think Steven Seagal should go into the internet short clip business because I don't how much longer he can keep up with these dumbass storylines.

Seriously, how many times can he:

1) break out of prison
2) be ex-cia/navy seals/wtf and be brought back
3) break out of prison
4) get down with black culture
5) break out of prison

This movie would have been better with a bigger budget, better planes, new storyline, and no Steven Seagal.

Prince of Pistols better be good or the NAACP will sue Steven Seagal for torturing BB King.

A Seagal movie with no Seagal, you are such an intelligent person judging by your post. Are you also racist by any chance?

reply

The mere mentioning of African Americans, and you start throwing 'racist' around. Who's the intelligent one now?

You make it sound as if Steven had a gun to BB King's head forcing him to participate. Nothing could be farther from the truth. BB King was only too delighted to be asked to take part in a project that involved Steven. I object to the fact that you implied that BB King doesn't have a mind of his own, and wouldn't be capable of saying no to Steven if that was his wish. And I promise you, I'm more intelligent than you could ever hope to be.

Good for you! Seagal bashers are everywhere. BB King is highly impressed with his musical ability. Praise indeed from the blues legend.

I'm sure you find it annoying having to defend him all the time eh? Seagal is ,making movies..ok not great as they once were, but someone is buying them! 2 of his movies are in the dvd chart this week,in the UK and that is a common sight,so all the bashers can kiss my you know what! Lol.

Well said, my man. spoken like a true fan. Our hero doesen't need me to defend him, but you know, I just can't resist the temptation to verbally kick their, you know what, via my posts, when I come across these Seagal bashers who haven't a clue what the devil they're on about. And you're correct about BB King's opinion about SS's musical ability. Like you said, it was praise indeed. He has quite a few fans around who appreciate and admire him for what he does, like us two. Hey, big up Mr. Steven Seagal, huh, Bad Mojo himself!!!

reply

Oh i don't just blindly praise him. He's not the star he once was,but he is still making movies and some are pretty decent! I have now seen Flight of Fury and think it's one of his best in a long time. There is loads of action, and the scene where he stops the store robbery was reminiscent of Hard To Kill at the start. Good flick! I enjoyed it. One more thing..
People here are moaning about using stock footage. Maybe they should have used a real stealth bomber! I'm sure the US govt would not mind. Ha.

"Seagal bashers are everywhere."

I'm no Seagal basher...I'm just a fan of "so bad it's hillarious" media...and ol' Steve is the current king of that variety of media...Hell, I buy his movies every chance I get...They're masterpieces of pure unintentional humor...I'd say that anyone that actually buys his movies is a good fan, regardless of WHY he or she is buying the damn things...
