Wow, this movie is garbage!!!

I don't normally judge movies so harshly, but this movie was crap! The acting was sad at best. There was no storyline. The over use of the score was extremely annoying. The camera shots were strange and pointless. I was upset, because I really hoped to see a decent movie here. I could not recommend this movie to anyone, unless you were in this movie I can't see how you'd enjoy it. Sorry Durst your day has past, go do a reunion tour for all the angry white boys...

Lots of people love this movie. Myself included. The acting is terrific, expect maybe for Jesse Eisenberg who plays the exact same character in everything he does. Jason Ritter was outstanding. I was also pretty impressed by Susan Sarrandon's daughter, Eva Amurri.

I guess I just didn't get it then. I had high hopes for it, but it just wasn't to my taste. The star rating for this is way to high though.

I agree with you deadstrange.....I thought it was awful. Sooo boring and you didn't have any sympathy for any of the characters because they all were soooo lame. I love Jesse Eisenberg but was disappointed to see that he is the exact same guy in everything he does. And also had NO sympathy for Mick. Who cares about a big bully?

Of course you're not the only one. Not everyone can like everything. Probably helps that I already liked a couple of the actors and that I have no antipathy toward Durst whatsoever. I have no real opinion on him.

And I totally disagree, again.

The bottom line is this, to anyone reading this: If you like any of the actors and you like indie film, you might dig it. In short, if you're interested in it, don't let anyone else talk you out of seeing it. You're all capable of making up your own minds, right...?

If you are reading this and you like any of the actors in this movie, watch this movie. I have no intention of talking anyone out of seeing this. See this movie if you want to waste a couple hours. I am just giving my opinion on a message board. That's it...

...I don't know. It wasn't like my FAVORITE movie, but I couldn't call it anything close to garbage. I'm not sure what you were expecting. The previews were pretty true to the film.

Strongly disagree. Loved this movie. It's smart. Well-written. Well acted. Well shot. Well directed. And trust me, I WANTED TO HATE THIS MOVIE because I think Fred Durst is annoying . . .

Weird how two people can look at the same thing and one thinks it's *beep* and the other thinks it's chocolate cake.

I know exactly what you mean...it's very weird how one person can absolutely love something and another absolutely hate...very good point, I wanted to like this film, because I used to love Limp Bizkit when I was young and stupid...I hoped he be able to cross over into film like Rob Zombie, but for me, that was not the case...lol
