made a special trip just to see Nevada city

My wife and I love this movie and went there on a trip last year it was awesome. Their are so many people who are so critical here can't you just enjoy a holiday movie with out going frame by frame ripping it apart? Maybe as a veteran I'm a little biased but it's nice to see a happy ending for a service man because of all the unhappy ones I've seen in real life.like ed asners character sais in his table blessing" may we all find peace the Christmas season" amen to that.

I loved this movie and recognized a few spots from when I lived near there. People are too critical and can't seem to just enjoy a movie. Yes they took liberties but what movie doesn't? It brought back a lot of memories for me.

Have always wanted to see that sweet town. I also loved the movie . As an AF Brat and military wife I really appreciated it

Oh how I wish Texas was closer so I could go visit especially during the holidays. A few things bugged me but overall I loved the movie. Loved the happy ending. I've had enough sad things in my life to bring me down...don't want a movie to do it too. If I find out an animal dies in a movie or there's no happy ending, I stay away. Most would really jump on me for that but I cry for hours over sad endings. I want movies that make me smile! Especially at Christmas.

Pretend we're starting out in life, instead of ending up.

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies, I love it. The story, the scenery, beautiful town, log home-this is all gorgeous. I'd love to visit here in winter, I got the dvd from Amazon yesterday, am watching it now, as that will be as close as I'll get lol.

Relax, enjoy the movie.
