today i saw the teaser of this film where the kid is swinging on the swing (that is this movie right? the trailer never said the name) and i was just wondering what the plot is, etc if anyone has more details that would be great, thanks

That sounds like the trailer for "The Omen" not this movie.
shareHaha. This is precisely why The Asylum cranks out all these crappy cash-ins left and right. They WANT you to think it's The Omen remake. Then you'll rent it and they'll make a quick buck at your expense.
Remember people, when you're in your local Blockbuster store, READ THE DVD CASE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU RENT THE MOVIE!
Yes they are well known for this. They usually put it out a month before the movie comes out in theaters. Then out of confusion your like maybe I was wrong about the date. The release date is exactly a month difference from The Omen. A newer example is Journey to the Center of the Earth. If you see that on shelves either check and see if its the old one and if it isn't don't rent it. Its another crap Asylum film.
