So for those who are looking for a repeat of LAST season in the new upcoming season, you will be obviously dissapointed. Yes, it is true...PCD are coming back to a tv near you on the CW, but this time, they're creating a whole new GROUP. Why, you may ask? So they can protect their own asses from another Asia "fiasco".
Apparently, Asia's image did not project what they believed to be kosher for PCD. This way, with a whole new group being created, they can have the publicity, the money, without the actual PCD group being affected or drug down with it when the new group (inevitably) fails.

To me, this just shows how truly self-absorbed, cynical, and sad the PCD managers are, as well as the CW.

Sure...let's create a show, make girls believe they'll be famous, not follow through on our end of the deal, and escape unscathed.
I can't wait.

I think also they realized how popular the show became and, as they said throughout the competition, they could have easily formed a group with the talent they were given. I think it sucks for Chelsea, Melissa R and Melissa S who could have formed a great group with Asia. Although, I hope this group doesn't become like those Making the Band groups.
