Last week to do this

It is hard to believe or say that it is true, but if anybody wants to listen or watch Mike and Mike and comment about anything that they have to say on the air, this is the week to do its as I am sure you are all aware that a week from tomorrow imdb.com are shutting all the message boards done, aft that we can't post or talk about anything we want to. Now you don't have to listen or watch all 4 hours of this show, all this week. But if you put it on try or radio, and you hear something you want rot comment about, this is the week to do so. As next week these boards will no longer exist.

I pick on Greeny a lot. I think he's a decent guy and probably a great family man and great friend.

Professionally, the best commentators that give opinions are typically committed to their point and have something to base their opinion on.

Greeny just doesn't have much to go with. He just likes to make waves with ridiculous points and they are not often very interesting or have little merit.

The show has been one I listen to because they still get the best guests (current and former players, owners, coaches & commissioners etc).

Both Mikes have worn out their welcome. The show excelled because of the juggernaut called ESPN at the time.

Good post, I'm going to the 8 or so favorited boards to do a final check in.

I have also criticized Greeny a lot but I have always tried to back up my cuts with actual facts and example of why I find fault with him.

Here is one more. After the Oakley incident, Greeny and all the others at ESPN joined in piling on Dolan and singing the praises of Charles Oakley and what a great hero he is.

I think it was Friday that Greeny went on a rant about how bad the Knicks are because of Dolan. It was all opinion, except for one thing Greeny mentioned. He said that Dolan had to pay a woman millions due a sexual harassment suit. I nearly fell out of my chair. What Greeny didn't mention about that was that the sexual harasser who caused the lawsuit was then Knicks GM Isiah Thomas. Thomas is currently a frequent guest on ESPN shows, including Mike and Mike. Greeny always gushes over him and revels in recounting how great a basketball player and business executive he is.

By the way, they continue to hammer Dolan. I don't know much about his ownership of the Knicks. I'm not a Knicks fan but all I saw in the video was Dolan trying to ignore Oakley while Oakley yelled at him and the security staff. TMZ published sixteen witness statements given to the cops about Oakley screaming racist taunts at all the white people in the area, and how he told people he was there just to get harass Dolan. One thing about Greeny and the others at ESPN though. They will never let the facts get in the way of their biased views and agendas.

JB,

And yes, on that morning, Greeny kept saying (paraphrasing) "I don't know what happened, but I'll take Oakley's version on this".

What kind of crap is that? Because you covered the guy you like his version. Both owners and players can be creeps and I am NOT in favor of taking the players side because he was "a great Knick".

Geez.

And even at times they even have some of their own hosts as guests on their show, and I am sure he is a great family man and great friend, but don't forget I believe it was either last year, or a couple of years ago, he said on air that instead of helping his wife celebrate her birthday, that he went and played golf. You might not like his opinions, but he has right to his own opinions even f you or Mike Golic don't agree with them. When do you think both Mikes hold have left, think about how long they have done the show together, Mike Greenberg certainly as been on the job a lot longer then the guy he replaced.
